It is so important to complete the loop of recycling by purchasing products made from recycled material. There are now approximately over 20 manufacturers of recycled plastic lumber. There are many ways to manufacture the product and many formulas of material. When plastic lumber is extruded often it will shrink when cooling and a sinking will occur within the center, though less expensive Aztec Plastic Lumber is NOT made by this method. Another form of extrusion offers you long lengths but an expansion of material towards the top and middle of the plastic lumber may occur, Aztec Plastic Lumber is NOT made by this method.

Aztec Plastic Lumber is made with recycled HDPE and is molded in one piece per specified size. All materials have UV additives to prevent deterioration of the plastic from the exposure to UV light. The lumber is made up of no less than 95% recycled material; both post industrial and post consumer. Finished plastic will not rot, split, crack, or splinter for a minimum of 25 years. It is resistant to termites, marine bores, salt spray, oil, and fungus. Our product is ASTM standardized and rated.
